What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
The ability to toggle a lock/unlock of the marker locations (the latitude/longitude of map markers) to keep markers from being accidentally moved while in the editing mode. Maybe this feature could be added as an option on the Marker List (lock/unlock marker locations individually) or Marker Groups (lock/unlock entire groups)?How does this feature request address the current situation?
Sometimes when I'm moving around the map (using the click and drag on map) during the editing phase or adding markers I accidentally move markers already set and have to fix them or end up making duplicates of markers I've already made because I moved it without realizing. It would be helpful to have the option to keep certain markers that don't need to move (like town/village names) stationary even in editing mode.What are other uses for this feature request?
I'm sure it's more of an annoyance than anything else, but I'm hoping other people will find it helpful too. I'm not sure what other things this could help/effect.The Team's Response
Thanks for your suggestion! We get the issue, so this will be part of the next major update to maps (Atlas).

on 2024-02-15 02:49Oh heck yes. This is especially problematic when you have mostly invisible markers. It creates a super annoying process of opening the pin, changing the marker type, moving it back, then changing it back to invisible.
