  I just got used to it with the old design and having it suddenly vanish makes me sad as it was nice to see how far I've come already on a easy first sight.   If possible it could be an option to pick to have it shown on the dashboard directly.

  I really miss the old placement of the word counter. My New Year’s resolution heavily involved checking it periodically, but now it’s far less accessible than before. I still can’t find its new location at this point (even with help.)

  You can click on Review World Statistics and find it, but I did like having the word counter right on the dashboard there.
