Voting-Board Suggestion-board suggestions user-interface filtering filters
Adding an ability to filter or select suggestion categories would greatly improve the user experience of the Voting Board.
On the right-hand side, there is already the ability to filter suggestions somewhat, being able to click on things like "Most Recent" and "Most Voted"
My suggestion is to enhance user ability to filter through the suggestions to get to those most interesting or relevant to them. This would include:
- Add a drop-down box that allows you to select which category/categories of suggestions to look at, using the categories already in place. - This could be similar to shopping sites where you click on the categories you want to add
- Add an "Other" "Generic" or "Miscellanous" category for suggestions that don't quite fit into the current categories (like this one)
- The default view can remain as it is with showing most recent

Personal Example / Reasoning
There are some WA features that I have no experience with, like the campaigns. As such, I do not have adequate information or experience to vote on suggestions related to campaigns. Some suggestion categories interest/affect me much more than others, and it would be nice to easily go to those specific ones.Template Questions
What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Sometimes the Voting Board feels a little overwhelming with so many suggestions to go through.How does this feature request address the current situation?
This would allow users the option to see the suggestions that are more relevant to them and navigate through older suggestions more quickly.What are other uses for this feature request?
It might improve user interaction with the Voting Board?

on 2021-10-26 11:25I don't think there are sufficient new suggestions that it's particularly onerous to look at them all, but certainly the ability to hide suggestions you have already voted on would make it much easier to check the list.
