Yes pleaaasee! For people like me, who do not use WorldAnvil to make very precise and fully written out articals, but just to brainstorm and write all the ideas down, this would be extremely helpful!
If we used the same timeline function, perhaps integrate a quick add function to drop an event into a spot on the timeline directly. That way you can visualize where these events are going as you add them. That and you can put them chronologically in order how you see them happening without having to know the exact dates ahead of time. It's date value can be a range that way if its not exactly known when an event happened it can be assumed it at least happened after "Event A" but before "Event B". Also, it would be nice to be able to at least order events that occur around the same date. For example: in a timeline you have multiple events that happen the same year, you can order the events chronologically without needing specific dates if they just contain the same year/date value. It would be nice if we could click, drag, and place these on the timeline directly or at least use a system similar to the article weight system in how they're presented.
