Embeddable event card

Content Addition · Timelines · Created by ddaniel

What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?

The ability to embed an event as a visual card (not a text link), the same way it displays on the timeline, or the way articles can be embedded.

How does this feature request address the current situation?

Adds something that isn't possible. Currently reading about an event needs a navigation or hovering, and does not provide a satisfying visual for readers.

What are other uses for this feature request?

They can be embedded in many other places. Such as markers on maps could contain the history in the form of a series of cards, and countless other.

I'd LOVE this to put on articles.

Despite how much I love timelines, this right here is one the major reasons why I dont use them much. If I could take that eveny and embed it like say an image is embedded or an article block, not only do I have another cool way of showing information, but I also have a use for those events that go beyond hoping someone finds themselves clicking that link. Take my coins!

I'd rather have events classed as their own kind of link-able article (with all associated behaviours and functions), BUT this would still be super cool too!!!

I like the idea of making events more "visual". It may be interesting to consider for the new stuff that is happening with chronos.
