What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
Currently, when viewing a family tree, it is not possible to determine the major alliance or loyalty of any given character on the tree itself. This is unsatisfying because with big family trees it can be helpful to quickly get an idea of who is a member of what Clan or House without going into the article itself.How does this feature request address the current situation?
I propose an update/modification to the current family tree which will display whatever image is in the flag of the primary organization listed in the character's article under the 'AFFILIATED ORGANIZATION, PRIMARY' scroll bar in the Generic Tab. Something like this; This solution would allow a person to quickly and easily identify which organization any given character is primarily loyal to without adding more words to clutter the screen. However, I do recognize that doing this would cover a small percentage of the character's image. I think this could be a feature that could be toggled on or off, or to the left or right side of the image.What are other uses for this feature request?
This feature could also be good for passive storytelling. If you have the family tree of, let's say, a royal lineage, and one member has something other than the official family crest on their box, we can assume their true loyalties must lie elsewhere.-
Additionally, I really just think it would look very pleasing to the eyes.
