What functionality is missing? What is unsatisfying with the current situation?
I have tried multiple times to use the World Anvil notes section for running my D&D games. However lack of formatting options to organize my notes is too limiting to use broadly. I end up gravitating toward other tools like Onenote because of formatting capabilites (i.e. titles, font sizes, built points, image inserts). All I think would be necessary is the same formatting options allowed for articles to be placed in the Notebook section for more fomratting options.How does this feature request address the current situation?
Adding formatting options will allow more rubust prep work for running a game session online. It will be much easier to make sense of my notes as I can call attention to certains parts through bolding, larger text, bullet points etc.What are other uses for this feature request?
Running online D&D and other RPG games with World Anvil.

on 2024-04-26 19:46You can format text with pretty much all the bbcode that works in articles already. there is an eye at the top right of the page that changes from edit to view mode where the formatting then is visible. I'm not sure if you mean editing capabilities beyond that. However, I guess it would be helpful to have that more obvious somehow or add an editor interface.
