A way to have tabs in an article, when you have a lot of content in one page is the actual request.
But I have heard there is/was issues with having tabs when it was tried in the past?...
If tabs are not possible, could we have a Spoiler that starts in the open state as a work around. (see image). On page open would be even better. Being able to access page states/events in CSS without (I get the security concerns) would the best, it open open lots of functionality.

Accepted as "In discussion" Although I fully understand the usefulness of this, we have explored it in the past and ended up with a spaghetti of BBcode. I am happy to have another look or try to come up with another solution but it will only be implemented if a smooth/clean solution can be found.

on 2021-04-13 13:06Support for some type of tabbed interface would be very helpful for me. If a BBCode solution isn't practical, perhaps a CSS approach could work. If we were able to set the ID of [container] elements, as well as the CLASS, then it's likely possible to create a CSS-only tab interface via the :target selector.
