Bode

Sometimes referred to as “the black moon” due to it's iron rich surface, Bode is only 0.89M⊕ but considered the greater of 2031PE-187's moons due to it's influence on the planet. At least, according to those who believe it exists.   Because of it's colouring, Bode reflects so little light that it's existence is still debated by many of 2031PE-187's residents. From the planet's surface, Bode appears to be a dark hole moving through the sky. This has given rise to many legends throughout the centuries.   However, none can deny its effects: Bode exerts primary control over 2031PE-187's tides.   Phase period: 45 days (from full to full), however the difference in appearance is slight. Unlike Mult, Bode’s timing is in perfect sync with the planet, therefore it remains a nighttime star.   Tides: Roughly noon and midnight, though it fluctuates through the season. Always 16 hours a part. Tides are strongest when moons are closer together, weakest when opposite one another.
