Binaržin'ur

Binaržin'ur, or Three Springs Town, is a smaller alchemist town and the home of the Institute of Imperial Alchemy. It's located southwest of the Imperial Capital.

Government

As the seat and home of the Institute of Imperial Alchemy, Binaržin'ur is lead by the Grandmaster. In addition to Zuladiaran laws, there are a set of rules that the alchemists and students are required to follow for safety and for idealogical reasons. The Grandmaster, the Four Elemental Masters and a select few Senior Alchemists will ensure these rules are followed.

Districts

Binaržin'ur is divided into six districs, as well as the Grandmaster and the Temple.

Raining Ember

Found in the south and southeast, this is where the Master of Stars and their apprentices are found. Aside from focusing on potions balancing the fire element of people with a fire-based disposition, they also observe the stars and sun, their powers as well as the of star charts in their alchemical practices.   The most known landmark is the Elemental Master's workshop and the magic fire crackling outside of it in day time and glowing warmly at night.

Healing Spring

Found to the west. It's the home of the Master of Seas and their apprentices. Water alchemy focuses on healing, but also in poisons. They also work with various remedies for people with water disposition and general balancing of the four elements in a person.   One of the three spring Binaržin'ur was named after is here and can be found as the centre of the district. A life-size deity statue of Denaštür watching over the water is north of the spring.

Fleeting Clouds

To the north is Fleeting Clouds, the Master of the Sky and their apprentices' dwelling. Here the structures stand tall, and with a few open air places to work their crafts.   Of all places, the most intriguing is the apprentice's workshop, which have been built in plateaus with the more senior apprentice higher up and junior apprentices lower. The Elemental Master's tower may also be a point of interest.

Nurturing Garden

The final of the Four Elemental Masters' districts is where the Master of Soil resides with the apprentices. This district is the largest with herbal, plant and tattoo based alchemy being the basis for any healing arts, but research into metalurgy is also part of Master of Soil's areas of interest.   The main point of interest is naturally the gardens, grown with great care and fair amount of magic and alchemical arts, that take up the majority of the district.

Residential District and Workshops

Additionally we have the Residential District, where Alchemists and the students who are not under apprentices under the Masters live, and the Workshops, where the largest amount of workshops, laboratories and other such fascilities are. The storage of various general materials, such as metals and minerals, inks and paints, papers and fabric are all found in the Workshops.   The Workshops is found in the southwest, lining the streets from the entrance to the Institute of Imperial Alchemy to the Temple and the Grandmaster in the centre of Binaržin'ur.   The Residential District is to the northeast.

The Centre

The residence, study and workshop of the Grandmaster is separated from all othe districts. It stand alone with only a few apprentice who may become Imperial Alchemists to act as assistants of the Grandmaster. The recidence stand next to another spring northwest of the Temple.   The Temple is dedicated to the four deities, Nükiž, Denaštür, Ažbak and Šadiaran, and has its four statues facing one of the four cardinal directions each, with Nükiž facig south, Denaštür facing west, Ažbak facing north and Šadiaran facing east.

Architecture

As is the case with most buildings found in Zuladiar, Binaržin'ur consists primarily of stone-and-clay constructions, with a wooden structure as a skeleton for it. The architecture varies slightly between the elemental districts and what is practical for each.   The Temple follows the common style, with a large hall with a domed ceiling. The outside is simple, but the inside has its four life-sized statues of the deities. The Binaržin Temple is one of the few that has no main deity, all four deities being equal in size. Another unusual feature is that it was three entrances and includes no dwellings for Oracles. Each entrance directly face a statue each, with the fourth one facing windows to the north.
