Lord Edmund Rhyztir, Darklord of the Ghoul Court
Lord Edmund Ryztir is a Darklord empowered by the Dark Powers and the Mists of Veruun. Long ago, Edmund lead a crusade against a smaller clan in the region, claiming that his rivals for power were practicing profane magic and cannabalistic rituals as an excuse to take their lands for his own. But when his son, Raymond came to him with evidence that the crusade was false and begged him to end the one sided war, Edmund struck his son down in a fit of rage. The Dark Powers watched this cruel act and the bloody, merciless slaughter that followed and cursed Edmund with unlife as a Ghast, doomed to never satiate his hunger for growing his kingdom and instead craving the flesh of the living. Now, centuries later, there are few left in Ryztir. The dilapidated town is in shambles and Edmund is forced to watch as history forgets him completely. That is, until the magical calamity the guild is combatting adds a new twist to the Ryztir curse. Edmund is now armed with a dark blade that is growing the mists surrounding Ryztir. Turning a tragic story into an imminent and dangerous threat.
