Career
Qualifications
A spacewalker was not selected lightly. They were the brave souls that went outside the safety of the dragonship. To repair anything broken, this could be a water collector, a solar sheet, and even the dragon fire canon.
A spacewalker needed not only be good at fixing these things, they needed to be in good health and good condition.
Payment & Reimbursement
The spacewalkers were rewarded with 1500 Empire Credits, that was a lot of Credits in the beginning. But at the end of the timeline in the year 3901 it was bare to minimum wage. There was talk about increasing of their salary, only those talks became void when the robots entered the stage.
Other Benefits
They were heroes, just below the Dragon Guards. But there were not many benefits besides the 1500 Empire Credits. But they were seen as the best choice for marriages, but there were no benefits for the spouses of spacewalker.
Perception
Purpose
Spacewalkers are the handymen inside space, only they repair stuff outside the ship instead of inside. Now their line of work has being taken over by robots, who cost less and do the work much quicker.
History

The first spacewalker a woman named Sandria Metreo. She went outside the ship to fix one of the water tanks, and none of the others wanted to do it. After she made the jump, she was ordered by the Court of The Dragonship to gather and train more people to this line of work. She did just that and she was proud of the work she did. This was in the year 2024, just two years after the First Landing.
The line of work did not change until the year 3890, when the first robot was set to work. The machine, which worked completely on Dragonfire technology did the work much faster than a human would do. Back then the humans still were needed because there was only one robot and the ship was far too big for it alone.

Only eleven years later the woman named Svana Ironfist made the last spacewalk, and this was to employ the last robot on the surface of the ship. She hated every minute of the hour she worked her final job, knowing that once she came back inside there was no need for her profession. Even the handymen that were inside the ship were replaced by robots at this point. But there was not much she could do, but to look for another job. Because no the court did not give the spacewalkers a new one after they were replaced. Svana, even ended up on of the moons working in as a handy woman for a mine.

Tools
They had various tools, under which a Dragonfire Crystal laser. Their suites were made out of Dragon Steel which is the strongest metal inside the Dragonship empire.
Workplace
Spacewalkers worked on the outside of the ship.
Dangers & Hazards
The job was not without risk, and people did lose their lives during the job. How many that ended up dead or injured is unknown. And the Court of The Dragonship those not want to clarify this to the public.

As from today the profession of Spacewalker is declared obsolete. The former Spacewalkers need to surrender their tools and gear to the Dragon Guard. They are not permitted to set foot inside space while they are on the main ship or on the other ships inside the fleet. Valuating this results in expulsion from the ship and forced labor on one of the planets/moons.
