All sound around him is amplified, but he can't control it. The faintest of sounds are incredibly loud to him. If he's in a noisy place, he can't stand it and gets headaches.

Personal history

Natsuki's parents died when he was little, and so he went to live with his grandparents in the peaceful countryside. He was happy living with them, but by the time he was 13 they had both passed away from old age. There was no other family to take him in, so he was sent to live at an orphanage. Natsuki spent most of his time hiding in his room, because all the other children were too loud for him to handle. His grades in school fell because he couldn't concentrate in class half the time and was constantly going to the nurse's office to get away from the noise. After he met Akihiko, he was then adopted by him and his partner Katsumi. Natsuki's new family was able to get him the help he needed so his power wouldn't trouble him anymore, so now Natsuki takes a medicine that puts a dampener on his power. He then starts to attend high school where he makes some new friends.

He was teased a lot as a child by kids his age. Before his power got under control, he'd be criticized by adults for his actions (such as running away for no apparent reason, crying and being unable to explain what was wrong, seeming like he wasn't paying attention or not listening on purpose even though it was just because of his power, etc).

Intellectual Characteristics

Natsuki is a shy and quiet boy. He prefers quiet activities such as reading or drawing. When he was a child, he never found it easy to speak up and was often picked on for it. So he didn't interact with many kids his age especially since his grandparents home-schooled him. As a teen, he still has trouble interacting with others. He's very timid and finds others intimidating. But when he does makes friends, he's very sweet and kind to them, and just wants to see them happy and enjoy fun times with them. He's also easily flustered when teased, and he blushes really easily.
