Sollen
The largest nation of Irona, The Empire of Sollen occupies the central lands of the continent and spans nearly half of the total land mass.
Sollen is known for its engineering ingenuity. Cannons first came from Sollen and they have continued to improve upon their gunpowder weaponry and thanks to the remarkable inventors at the Wittemburg College of Engineering they are the only peoples able to manufacture handheld rifles and pistols.
History
After the cataclysm the lands now Sollen were home to scores of tribal Kings. Only the existential threat of the Ashadin Empire taking over the lands now Esperia and advancing into the rich lands of the south saw the tribes band together and for decades they fought the greatest empire the world had yet seen to a standstill. After the assassination of Horus Ashar the surviving tribes organised into another great empire. The Empire of Sollen.
