High Elves

Haughty and aloof, the high elves see themselves as the pinnacle of elven kind.
They were the dominant power in the Fey Wild but the loss of their homeland has caused schisms in their society. Their once hegemonic rule is now reduced to a handful of isolationist city states on the edges of other empires, as a result many are now focused on returning to the Fey Wild to return to times past.
Though the first of the elven races to discover The Weave as it bled into the Fey Wild, the high elves were the slowest to adapt to it as, for centuries the study of the peoples and systems on Zirael was frowned upon if not outright forbidden as it was seen to be giving up on their home world.
