Utrix was birthed from the Edysus, God of Travel when he wanted to delegate his power. 
She then created 4 mighty gold dragons the Age of Mortals, one for each of the four winds.
After Edysus found this out, he had her destroyed, fearing the mortals were given too much power, and that the dragons were not of pure heart.
