• The kingdoms of men hired him as a sell-sword during The Last War to fight against Bool.
• He was sent to Barovia to defeat Strahd
• Strahd took a liking to him and his prowess in battle, and toyed with him, before eventually turning him into a vampire spawn
• Myth recants that in his other adventure he defeated another powerful vampire in a tower, but his Red's overconfidence got the best of him when facing Strahd
• Red wields a mighty vorpal greatsword, which Strahd of course lets him keep
• Red is a great executioner and set out by Strahd, as well as doing other biddings at night while Rahadin is asleep.
