Dietrich is the head of House Suor Ivae, one of the great houses of the realm. He is the Margrave of Agraen and oversees the Home Guard and noble forces protecting the Hakan border.
Military Career
Dietrich has spent the majority of his life in the Home Guard and has risen up the ranks aided by his noble heritage. At present he is the First Tourmar of the 2nd Border Defense Themararie, which consists of 34,000 soldiers. For a time he was a rising star in the guard, before the birth of his illegitimate child to a diplomat and royal from a hostile foreign power nearly ended his career, a mistake which he has spent the past two centuries paying for. He has only recently attained the rank of First Tourmar, having been stuck as a Tourmar until the successful deeds of his legitimized bastard son overcame the stigma of his heritage and Dietrich ended up stopping a major slave raid.Relationships
