The Uroplatus Incantation Spell in Zepharog | World Anvil

The Uroplatus Incantation

The Uroplatus Incantation was created by the Umbra Drakks. It is the medical Incantation, healing the sick and mending the wounds-- while in the hands of a trained Invoker, it can be used to manipulate the plants, earth, rocks, and even roots.

Effect

Uroplatus is used to manipulate the forces of nature that The Zenyki Incantation doesn't. It can also be used to heal wounds and recover limbs.

Side/Secondary Effects

Wherever the Incantation is cast, there is a smell of rain and pine. The Arcanist that used the Incantation also has roots, vines, or other such plant matter that lingers on their hand or arm they used to cast. During the initial hour of casting, the residual plant matter will slowly wither and flake off of their bodies. The type of plant matter varies between caster.

Manifestation

Upon invoking the Incantation, a glowing symbol of a leaf-tailed lizard will flare and do the desired effect the Arcanist wants. Whether the effect was to heal a wound or to bring the wrath of the forest.

Source

The Uroplatus Incantation is drawn for the Weave of Nature or Nature-Weave as some Arcanists have called it. The Nature-Weave is the weave of dirt, forests, beasts, and even certain metals found in the ground; while the Uroplatus Incntation doesn't control the beasts of The Wild Wood or even the metals that lay dormant in the crust of Rakasha, it does harbinger the ability to heal and the ability to wound with nature's thorns.

Discovery

Nobody but the Umbra Drakks know how this Incantation came to be, but some Umbra Drakks have said that it was given to them by the Wild Wood in Arkenwald .
Most of the people of Rakasha don't believe a single word of it, some have been seen going into the Wild Wood and honoring the "gift" it has given the Umbra Drakks and in return, them.
