Status Effects and Debuffs

Debuffs

 

STUNNED:

The target is affected by the "Staggered" condition and criticals against the target are 9's and 10's when attacking. Additionally, if the creature has an enhanced Critical chance, they lower it by 1 against a Stunned target.  

STAGGERED:

The next Strike against the creature deals an additional 1d12 and automatically gains 2 successes.  

FEARED:

While afflicted with Feared, the afflicted have a penalty to their Strikes and checks equal to their Mind attribute pool. Additionally while their fear is within sight, they cannot move closer to it.  

BLINDED:

The afflicted creature has -2 to Strikes, their Awareness talent, and other checks that require sight.  

HOBBLED:

While afflicted the target's Movement is halved and have a penalty to Dexterity and Endurance checks equal to the number in parenthesis.  

RESTRAINED:

While restrained, the afflicted cannot move. Whenever the afflicted spends Stamina to Strike, it can only make one. Any checks using Dexterity, Deftness, Strength, or Endurance have a -3 to their pool.  

PRONE:

The afflicted on the ground has a -3 penalty to its Strikes while granting +3 to melee Strikes against it.  

FATIGUE:

While afflicted, and depending on how far the fatigue is, the physical attributes will be lessened in addition to their health pool. If the afflicted's fatigue reaches the end of the track, a permanent decrease to the target's attributes will be received.  

CHARMED:

The afflicted regards the Charmer as a trusted companion but will not be willing to hurt itself. The charmer additionally gets to double their Charisma checks against the afflicted.  

Incantation Debuffs

 

HALLOWED:

The afflicted target temporarily loses its ability to connect with the Weave of Magic, lowering what type of caster they are by 1 level. If the Spell Weaver was a full caster, their Weave of Magic pool is now that of a 1/2 caster.  

LUSTROUS:

The afflicted creature no longer gains the benefits of invisibility and has a penalty to their Stealth checks equal to the dice in parenthesis.  

BLIGHT:

While afflicted by Blight, you take Wychblight damage equal to the number in paranthesis. Additionally, when the creature takes necrotic damage this way, it also reduces their Weave of Magic pool by the number rolled. The afflicted can roll their Arcane + Vigor pool with a difficulty of 5 at the end of their turn.  

BLEED:

The afflicted takes bleed damage as an additional cost when expending Stamina until the afflicted is healed. If the target is afflicted with more sources of bleed, both sources increase by one die size. But only the larger amount of bleed stays.  

JOLTED:

The Afflicted and creatures within 10ft of the afflicted take Jolted damaged when the afflicted first uses Stamina on their turn. In addition the afflicted takes Jolted damage at the end of its next turn.  

BURNED:

The afflicted takes Burned damage equal to the dice in parenthesis at the start and end of its turn until the afflicted puts the flame out by expending 2 Stamina.  

COLDSNAP:

The afflicted's movement is halved and they take Coldsnap damage equal to the dice in parenthesis whenever they expend Stamina. If they take additional Coldsnap damage, both sources increase in dice size. But only the bigger damage stays.  

TRAUMATIZED/TRAUMA:

An Afflicted takes Trauma damage at the end of their turn for the duration equal to their Mind pool. Additionally, they cannot form complex thoughts or Incantations while afflicted.  

FESTERED:

While afflicted, the target takes Fester damage equal to the dice in parenthesis at the top of its turn and when it moves five or more feet. Additionally, that creature cannot move more than half its movement. The afflicted may make a Vigor + Manipulation DC 5 at the end of its turn.  

CORRODED:

The afflicted takes Corroded damage at the start and end of their tun equal to the dice roll in parenthesis. Additionally, their Armor rating is reduced by the initial corroded roll until repaired with Smith's Kit.

DEVOURED:

While afflicted, the target grants Enervated to any creature that drops the afflicted's hit points to 0 or kills it. Additionally, the afflicted has a penalty to their hit points equal to their largest Attribute.  

Buffs

 

ENERVATED:

While Enervated and until 1 minute is over, any Strike damage or Incantation damage gains additional dice in parenthesis to its original damage. Additionally whenever an Enervated target kills a creature, that Enervated target regains Stamina equal to their Arcane pool while refreshing Enervated's duration back to 1 minute.  

INVISIBLE:

While invisible, you double your Stealth pool, any Strike you make has a critical of 8, 9, or 10 on the roll, and you gain an additional 2d12 damage on the attack.  

TRUESIGHT:

While afflicted, the user can see though illusions, a shapechanger's true form, Incantation-touched objects and areas, creatures deemed hostile to you are outlined, invisible creatures and things, and a Spell Weaver's Strand Trace of the Weave of Magic.
