HVT Eliminator Certification
HVT (High Value Target) Eliminator Certification is a highly exclusive GuardCorps certification course primarily offered by qualifying prefectures in good standing with Unitas Consortium. It is typically only offered to the top 3% of GuardCorps personnel, and is limited to Battle- and Heavy-class zeo pilots.
The course’s initial phases cover advanced materials science, expert-level weapon techniques, and a combination of high-intensity virtual simulations and live-fire courses. The course is designed to promote accurate target assessment (especially an opponent’s armor and armaments), split-second decision-making (such as weapon selection and calibration), and a deep understanding of the physics of zeo combat, both ranged and melee.
However, the most coveted portion of the course is the later phase, when students are given access to a curated collection of classified intelligence dossiers on a wide variety of enemy zeo models, revealing their individual weaknesses, capabilities, and potential counter-strategies in depth. According to graduates of the course, these dossiers have been collated from the work of hundreds of analysts, scientists, and tech ops field operatives.
Most students choose to specialize in countering a certain class of zeo or zeos produced by a certain manufacturer, but all graduates are expected to display significantly above-average kill percentages when facing any opposing zeoform. Failing to meet this expectation usually means the revocation of the HVT Eliminator Certification.
