Demetri Tarvanto
Demetri Yarvanto is a Sakura zeoform pilot and leader of the Horizon Expeditions GuardCorps formation, fielded by Tetragon Prefecture located in Odyssey’s End heliosphere. Yarvanto has been decorated for his roles in leading several major operations including the establishment of mineral mining outposts in Juno, scouting colony locations in Delft, and destroying a Hydroska pirate base in Wallach.
According to footage of Horizon Expeditions operations, Yarvanto’s Sakura loadout includes a BAC-15 Auto Cannon, “Firestorm” rockets, and Power spikes. His zeo, nicknamed “Redline,” is heavily armored and slow-moving, acting as a mobile fire support base and rally point for his squad.
Psychological assessments obtained by the hacker collective CUBE characterize Yarvanto as calm, calculating, and ruthless, as well as proficient in intimidation and negotiation. He is accustomed to operating without backup, and is willing to exert outsized force or use scorched-earth tactics to deter larger forces—-especially Protocol weapons like the WS-128 “Tordenskrald” Missile Designator and aforementioned WS-22 “Firestorm” Rockets.
Additional documents obtained by CUBE reveal that although Yarvanto is strongly disciplined, his adherence to orthodox Hegemony philosophy is deeply questionable. In clandestinely recorded statements obtained by CUBE, Yarvanto said the following to a fellow executive officer:
“...bureaucrats and idealists are always going to be usurped by soldiers and demagogues. I don’t trust demagogues. I trust soldiers. Soldiers understand that the promise of order is used to justify what needs to be done. I don’t have any illusions.”
Since the document leak, CUBE claims Yarvanto plans to betray Tetragon Prefecture and establish himself as a warlord in Wallach. CUBE further claims that the Intelligence Corps of Horizon Expeditions GuardCorps has dispatched surveillance teams to surveil Yarvanto’s movements.
