Amplification Matrix Module
An Amplification Matrix Module is a general term for a range of custom-built components for the Amaroq Master-Rig that allow the zeo pilot to manually amplify the energy sources of their weapons (such as pulsars and beamers) with extra bursts of power. On the battlefield, Amaroqs armed with these devices are usually marked as high-value targets due to their role as ‘zeo hunters’.
Amplification Matrix Modules are prized by Amaroq pilots due to their ability to penetrate zeo armor and shields, allowing a well-placed shot to disrupt vital systems or decisively finish off a damaged opponent. Calibrating the Module requires a deft hand on the part of the pilot, who needs to manually increase the power draw of the weapon without overloading it or burning out capacitors.
Most Amplification Matrix Modules are assembled from scavenged or custom-tooled parts by zengineers, who may make their own modifications. No standard blueprint for a Module exists, but some of the most popular basic designs come from the now-defunct Askarat Armaments and the Ratworks, a secretive collective of black market engineers. The exact materials and specifications of Modules are closely guarded secrets of most Pact cells, since they can provide a distinct tactical advantage against even the most formidable zeoforms.
