Wipfaarr
Pawel's Player Character
Wipfaarr was born to the leader of a small Bugbear tribe in the Forgotten forest. The tribe was a thriving place and controlled a relatively large section of forest for its size. The tribe ran like smooth clockwork under Wipfaarr's father, with everyone working together to make the best life for themselves that they can, never leaving the Forgotten Forest. His father wanted Wipfaarr to inherit the marvellous position he holds, to have Wipfaarr spend his life in this forest and never once venture outside, acting as the tribe chieftain.
That idea, however, was incredibly boring.
Whipfaarr always believed he was destined for greatness, to be walking among the stars and recognized for his talent wherever he goes. Since a young age he always preferred to practice his imaginary fighting techniques over doing anything with the rest of the tribe, where he would perform to an imaginary crowd, stunned with awe at his impressive fighting capabilities. He would daydream of a roar of recognition from an audience filled with admirers of his amazing routine while swinging an old whip he got for a birthday. Wipfaarr knew that he would one day perform using his skills and win his way to world fame, and while other kids played with sticks, he was busy on his own practicing his whip entertainer routine, constantly finding minor flaws and improving the routine, refusing to quit until it was absolutely perfect.
This continued for most of his life, until one day, aged 17 years old he decided he has wasted more than enough of his life in this boring and dull forest that lacks any touch of creativity. He needed to get to a space where his talent is appreciated, not rot in this space where his impeccable skills are scoffed at and criticized. He gathered his whip and embarked to seek his fame in the United Republic where he landed a successful career as a Gladiator for a small circus company. He quickly adapted to his new environment, and felt like a fish in fresh water. He could not only practice his performance, as well as actually perform to, while small but, an actual audience of people. These people came to see him! To watch him entertain! Him!!
Finally, at age 20 years old, Wipfaarr had achieved a high he was chasing for over half his life. This truly was an incredible feeling. All the hours spent practicing and performing to his imaginary audience now made him who he is now, who these people come to see and cheer for. This was the life, and it was one Wipfaarr could easily get used to. Too easily in fact. The initial high quickly faded and the small circus company never really took off, despite their best efforts. Wipfaarr felt like his talent is dimmed in this place again, knowing he could entertain so many more people than he could in this place. With a bittersweet feeling in his gut, he quickly made his decision. He said his goodbyes to his circus crew and decided to embark on the life of an adventurer, in order to build connections and meet more people. One of those will surely be his token to fame. They have to be...
