Once Nathaniel von Reges was part of the high society of Skedeti, roubed shoulders with the who is who of the country. But faced with the steady decline of the House of Reges due to increased anti-dhampir/vampire he started to plot to overthrow the government of Skedeti to secure the status-quo.
But the coup d'etate was doomed to failed, the group of consirer to small, the population to convinced of their hatred against dhampirs/vampires.
Nathaniel von Reges only escaped execution due to his name and standing, but was exiled from his homeplace.
He spent the time after wandering the continent, lost and confused in a world he did not understand he lost track of time and place, till he got chased into a tavern by a giant lizard.
By now he is so consumed by his hatred for the believed injustice that he suffered and starved from all the luxury he used to enjoy as well as the regular blood he needs, he has gone nearly mad.
