Personal history
Rae and her sister Zea moved to Sandpoint several years ago and bought a small villa without walking distance from the downtown region. Their mother briefly married a man who seems to have been the son of the goddess Shelyn. While he was present in Rae and Zea’s lives early on, he eventually succumbed to wanderlust and abandoned them.
Gender Identity
Rae was born male, but knew early in her life that she was in the wrong body. Through the blessing of a priest of Shelyn, Rae now possesses a body that reflects her sense of self. Occasionally, masculine traits will show through (ie: Rae is much stronger than the average aasimar woman due to testosterone in puberty), but Rae holds firmly to a feminine self-image. It is one of her deepest fears that Shelyn’s favor may be removed from her and she will be cursed back into her masculine body again.

Working in the Sandpoint maintenance office, Rae makes 9.5gp per week (take 10 on Profession [clerk] check). She eats at the Steel Sorcerer about twice a week, both otherwise eats at home with her sister. She spends in the area of 3.75gp per week on food. Rent on their villa is 1.4gp per week which the sisters split.
