Mary Rider (a.k.a. Dawnsblessing)
The head priest of Saranrae in this town is an Oracle named Mary Dawnsblessing, a granted name after Saranrae blessed her with true sight and took her mundane vision. Mary will tell the party that they are destined to complete their goal, which is a good act even if done for less than good reasons. She has information that will guide them in their quest and offers them the use of a small townhouse owned by the church for the duration of their stay.

General Physical Condition
Due to her blindness, Mary's physical mobility is somewhat limited. She keeps in decent shape by walking around town to visit the sick and elderly shut-ins and does not require a cane for such walking. While she is not athletic, she is not flabby, either. She usually walks barefoot, even in the winter.

Her eyes are distinctively clouded over with a white-gold cataract that glows when the light is dim.

Most of Mary's clothes are gold and white with Saranrae's holy symbol embroidered on them somewhere. She does own several sets of more "casual" clothing, including a commoner's work dress and apron, a good wool cloak, and a cotton night-shift. She prefers soft cloth for boots rather than leather, though she does own a pair of well-worn riding boots.

Personal history
Mary Dawnsblessing was called by Saranrae as an oracle when she was in her mid-20s. As the daughter of a stablemaster, she didn't have much in the way of marriage prospects and had expected to dedicate herself to a nunnery at some point, but had not expected such a direct calling. Saranrae apologized for taking her vision but promised to give her insight in other areas before kissing her between the eyes and directing her to Khabarak's cathedral for further training.

Mary believes in the cause of Saranrae wholeheartedly. She does not begrudge healing to anyone and always looks for the best in people, even tieflings. Even in the face of repeatedly evil deeds, she trusts that her goddess has not made a mistake with the current party and that they will achieve greatness in the name of Saranrae.
