The Nine Hells of Azhi-Kael
Overview
The Nine Hells of Azhi-Kael are a metaphysical prison system forged during the Hollow Moon Calamity, when Azhi-Kael, once a celestial enforcer of divine law, fell into corruption. Each Hell represents a twisted version of a divine virtue, transformed into torment, ritual, and eternal binding.
These Hells are not chaotic realms—they are meticulously structured dimensions of punishment and control, where every soul, scream, and decree follows infernal law.
The Ninefold Seal, founded by Solmara, exists to bind these realms and preserve the original virtues from which they were corrupted.
Cosmic Role
- Each Hell serves as a plane of damnation and refinement, turning damned souls into fiends, devils, and warlocks.
- Each is ruled by a Helllord, a being who once reflected a noble ideal, now devoured by purpose and pride.
- The Nine Hells are layered, not in depth—but in escalating corruption, from prideful chains to despairing guilt.
