Golem
The mage shook himself, weary from days of working with magic. Then focused on the materials in front of him, waiting to be animated into a golem. "Maybe this one won't try to kill me..."
He sighed and started casting the last spells needed to animate it. The body slowly stood, resembling a large bird of prey made of wood and metal, a glowing crystal for its heart. It stared with empty eyes, waiting for an order. "Good bird, much better than the other one..."
The golem's only response was to tilt its head to one side, creaking slightly with the movement.
Golems are similar to Constructs in that they are created with magic. But where Constructs are usually flesh and blood (or liquid magic). Golems are made from inanimate objects bound together with magic.
