Mythology & Lore
There was once a god of unstoppable power, Dresiri. His power was enough for him to garner the jealousy of another god. This god tricked Dresiri into using his powers to create and make use of an avatar, however when he did so his power leaked violently from his avatar destroying anything in its path. When he finally got a grasp on his power, the damage had already been done. He looked at all that he had done, the destruction he had wrought, he turned his destructive power towards himself, and was split into 5 gods, the gods that now make up the Dresiri Pantheon.
Divine Origins
The faithful who followed Dresiri began worship of the Pantheon after Dresiri split, some worshipped a specific god, while others worshipped them all as a whole.
Priesthood
The Arch-Cleric is anointed after being chosen by gods through omens and signs
Clerics are selected from the priests and other faithful
The priests are followers of the faith that devote their time to study of the holy book

Being the common religion throughout the continent of Grifyet, it helps diplomatic relations to some degree.

In order of greatest percentage to least:
The Sey Tre believe that the split is irreversible, and therefore the gods in their current form are as perfect as they can be
The Yers believe that one day the gods will be recombined into Dresiri.
