The World-King's Guard

The World-King's Guard is a subsection of the Enforcers of Fealty that is tasked with protecting the World-King himself from all manner of threats. Although the World-King himself is, of course, immortal and invincible, rebels have on occasion attempted to severely inconvenience him through the use of improvised explosives and high-powered rifles. The role of the World-King's Guard is to prevent such inconvenience from befalling our great monarch, and to prevent collateral damage whenever such a heinous act is attempted.
The Guard is also oftentimes used as a means of testing new technologies, including the Model 529 bolt-action rifles they currently use as their primary armament. They also keep the peace in the great capital of Rifayef in times of strife, such as during natural disasters and instances of unrest.
