The crew of the Amethyst return to Shadowell Port after being blown off course in a storm, with strange tales of the ruins of an ancient city east of the Greenskin Plains.

Four of the travlers aboard, however, tell a different tale: One of an Eternal Day in the Great City of Eskertemp, of the desperate ritual of the Last of the Elder Blood, and of the ancient platinum dragon and her tragic salvation.
