Backstory
Roland, like so many unfortunate children, was an orphan of a war. A determined young lad, he made himself useful at the soldier's encampment, eventually being taken on as the apprentice of an army blacksmith. He grew up armoring warpriests and dedicated his life to Gond, god of smiths and innovation. As an adult, he made a pilgrimage to study under a master dwarven armorer. Now he lends his skills to the adventuring league and their unending supply of adventurers, so that he never grows rusty.
