Independent Terrosian Kingdom

The Independent Terrosian Kingdom (ITK) emerged from the ashes of the Sapphiro Empire, establishing itself under the leadership of the Carabassa family, the wealthiest household in Terrosia. Built on promises of prosperity for its people, the kingdom's economy relies heavily on the slave trade—a system accepted, and even embraced, by its citizens.

Structure

There are only 3 duchy in Terrosian Kingdom. Their land border depends on the king. Basically, the more opinion the king have to you, the bigger a duke’s land is. The king also have 3 advisors for military, diplomatic and economic.

Culture

Agrarian and Traditional Society: The ITK fosters an agrarian culture centered around farming and pastoral life. The landowners, including nobles and wealthy citizens, depend heavily on slave labor for agricultural production.   Farming Estates: Large estates, especially in the fertile plains, grow essential crops like wheat, barley, and root vegetables. Orchards and vineyards provide luxury items such as wine and fruits.   Rural Festivals: The kingdom’s culture is steeped in seasonal festivals celebrating harvests, fertility, and rural life, often marked by feasts, music, and traditional dances.   Class Divide: Nobles and commoners benefit from slave labor, giving rise to a leisure class that enjoys relative luxury. This creates a sharp divide between social classes, with free citizens reveling in comfort while slaves toil.

Public Agenda

Southern Expansion: The ITK’s political and military focus is on expanding southward. The southern frontiers, rich in resources and trade routes, present valuable opportunities.   Military Campaigns: Armies are often deployed to secure strategic passes and resource-rich areas.

History

Founding and Rise: After the collapse of the Sapphiro Empire, the Carabassa family consolidated power by promising prosperity through reduced labor burdens for citizens. Using wealth accumulated through trade and connections, they took control of Dragonstable and declared it the capital of the Independent Terrosian Kingdom.   Golden Age of Slavery: Under the Carabassa family’s rule, the slave trade flourished, with human and Fenniko captives filling the estates and farms of the kingdom. While the people enjoyed prosperity, the reliance on slavery became a moral blind spot.

Agriculture & Industry

Agricultural Economy:

Staple Crops: Wheat, barley, and root vegetables dominate the farmlands.   Luxury Goods: Orchards produce wine and fruits for the nobility, with vineyards expanding to meet growing demand.   Livestock: Farms raise cattle, sheep, and pigs, with horse breeding for the army and nobility.

Cottage Industry:

The ITK also supports small-scale industries in textile production and craftsmanship. Local artisans produce fine pottery, clothing, and weapons, often relying on slave labor for menial tasks.

Trade & Transport

Sea Trade: The ITK relies heavily on maritime trade routes across the Sharosia Strait and other coastal waters, sending agricultural products, slaves, and horses to allies and neutral territories.   Overland Routes: Caravans and horse-drawn wagons connect Dragonstable to distant towns and cities across Terrosia. Goods such as grain, textiles, and livestock are transported through these routes, with settlements along the way providing rest and trade points.

Infrastructure

Water Management: Aqueducts and wells supply fresh water to Dragonstable and its outskirts. The rural estates use irrigation canals to water fields, ensuring stable agricultural yields.
