The Complete History of Yrnath, the book you now hold in your hands, is as complete a record of the events of the world's history as is possible for one being to collect. Within these pages you will find information about events from as far back as the dawn of reality and up to the present day, updated and maintained through diligent research and divine observations.

Origins
The Complete History of Yrnath was first drafted by Intollus, the Lore Master, as part of their work while the universe was new. Though the rest of the Divine Order were content in merely creating for the sake of creation, Intollus believed in the importance of maintaining a divine record, so that the stories of their creations might be documented and understood by all who might one day stand in their place. To ensure the creation of their record, Intollus split themself into semi-divine fragments, scattering them between the many planes of the newly-created realm.
Within each plane, Intollus manifested as a series of incarnations, each possessing a fragment of Intollus' original divine power. Each of the incarnations adopted a name befitting of the place and culture into which they were born, allowing them to ingratiate themselves fully with the people around them.
Intollus' Incarnations
The first incarnation of Intollus was a dragon named Kyr'ri, who began to collect records and form the first section of
The Complete History. Their efforts to chronicle the events of the earliest civilizations in Yrnath have proved invaluable to those able to access its knowledge, as little other evidence or record has managed to survive the millennia. Unfortunately, much of said information is written in an early precursor language, the knowledge of which is among that which has been lost to time. Though some information has been able to be translated, the full extent of Kyr'ri's section's knowledge remains locked behind a seemingly impossible barrier.
The second incarnation was a teuberel named Avikzit, writing in a language similar to modern tabaxi script. The information obtained from Avikzit's section of
The Complete History has proven tremendously valuable, as it details the beginnings of the first mortal civilizations, including substantial descriptions of the construction of Khun Vulrahm, the dwarven mega-structure built in the mountains of the Salidge Highlands and the capital city of the Vulrahmi Imperium. It is also the only surviving record detailing the dwarves' usage of slave labor, as the dwarves had undertaken considerable effort to remove that information from their history.
The information about the third incarnation of Intollus has yet to be translated from the first edition of the Complete History.
The fourth incarnation was as an eladrin named Faruvir Galdathre. Thanks to how they were able to ingratiate themself into eladrin high society in the lead-up to the
Eladrin Disappearance, historians have a much better idea of what might have led to the sudden loss of an entire group of people.
The name of the fifth incarnation, as well as information about the sixth and seventh incarnations, has yet to be translated from the first edition of the Complete History.
The eighth incarnation was as a human named Oliver Klein. During this incarnation, they created the second edition of the Complete History, designed to be distributed to others.
The ninth and tenth incarnations of Intollus have, due to the events of the Age of Domination, sadly been lost to time.
Of course, the book is still being maintained, as is rather obvious given its continued existence. I, as the eleventh incarnation of Intollus, have chosen to remain anonymous, such that my research is not swayed or interrupted by those who would endeavor to "correct" history to suit their own personal goals.
