Jollity is a native Haven halfling girl, one of many who has suffered loss caused by the undead in the forest. Her parent's died whilst distributing food to the nearby forests. This loss drove her over the edge and she began a self-imposed exile from Overgrowth, thinking that the last thing the town needed was another orphan. Years passed and she met up with a dwarf known as Kalbum Stormhammer whilst camping. They struck up a bond and she slowly became his apprentice.
After many years Kelbum convinced her it was the right thing to return to Haven and pursue a life among her other relatives, burying the past and pain that has haunted her for years.

Personal history
The night she lost her parents is one that lives in her memory forever. Everyone knows that the forests outside of Haven are filled with the dead and with cultists, but unfortunately they are also the quickest way to nearby villages. Most of these villages have dwindled or struggle with the Rift Drain however Jollity's parents believed that they had to try and sustain these villages.
On the fateful night, Jollity was travelling with her parents, they stayed on the edge of the forest. Their campfire was bright, their supplies were watched, they were all set up for a safe evening. Then the sentries started to scream. One by one their screams ended. Jollity's parents ushered her into a tree, before drawing their weapons. She watched the slaughter from above, muffling her screams in her own hands. she stayed in that tree for 2 days, too scared to come down.
When she returned to Haven, she was unable to tell anyone why she alone, where her parents were, what happened. It took them days to find their bodies without her help. For weeks she stayed with Wilbert Tosscobble but she couldn't open up to him. She was trapped, they all wanted answers. She knew they blamed her, even if they didn't say it. Why did she hide? Why did she not help? Scream? Anything. She had to leave, she had to become a nobody. Away from Haven. And that is exactly what she did.
Employment
Jollity is currently working as a blacksmith's apprentice, under the tutoring of Kalbum. Her work is currently quite crude but she enjoys making the rough blades for Kalbum to turn into refined weapons of beautiful murder.
Mental Trauma
Occasionally sees flashbacks of the night her parents died. She visits their grave every single day, to talk to them, to care for their headstone, and to ask for their forgiveness for not doing more.
