The pink fruit in an ocha can be harvested and regrown in about four weeks. The fruit is squeezed to extract the sap, while the rest is blended to create an ocha smoothie.

Mud melons grow exclusively on the Aura Stone. Mud melons can only be consumed by davites, as the crops require such strong stomach acids. If anyone else were to eat a mud melon, they would die from its sourness.

Mud melons are a very sour crop. Some davites enjoy it, but many will pair it with flavours that combat the sourness. The taste is to die for, which brings many people back to the melons.

The pink-tipped leaves are dipped in oil sauce and enjoyed as a nice morning treat, as people ride on their moon rays through the electrifying Starry Sea to wake themselves up.

Aura sponges are one of the only dry foods on Dave. The aura sponge's colouring is base on the radiant aura that surrounds the Aura Stone. The sponges are a typical birthday treat for davites. These dry cakes are made with organic green dye and the pink leaves of mud melons, which are strained to bring out the colour.

The dyes can be hard to manage, especially when the cakes are made underwater on an ocean planet, so aura sponges are a cake made by professionals.

Smoked Tentacle

These tentacles are harvested from neuron squids, a species that lack a nervous system. To smoke these tentacles they are shoved deep inside a thermal vent and left for several hours. They are taken out and stuck on long sticks or placed into a bowl, as the end result is easy to tear apart.

Neuron squid tentacles are by far the most common meat to be consumed on Dave. Neuron squids cannot feel a thing, and they are considered a pest, so davites are more than happy to kill and eat them. As well, smoked tentacles are very easy to cook and are nutritious.
