BUILD YOUR OWN WORLD Like what you see? Become the Master of your own Universe!

Welcome to Yonder

Across the Dreaded Deep. Amidst the mountains of Spire. Within the dense forests of Caracas. Life can be found anywhere in Yonder. Diverse and wide ranges of humanoids and non-humanoids alike have called these lands their home for centuries, and while certain peoples have stronger ties within parts of the world, there are no limitations to who (or what) you can be.   In this section you will find information on common races by region, unique lore tied to certain heritages, and additional information on building your characters with the help of "An Elf and an Orc Had a Little Baby". This page is here to serve as a guide and inspiration for grounding your character in the world and learning about the various types of life flourishing in this land, however nothing is set in stone. If you have an idea that falls between the cracks of what is already established then I am happy to work with you to change some of this information. And with that out of the way, let's get started!

The people of Yonder; and beyond

It is said, that Yonder is a land that lies between the astral bodies of Three Great Giants. Suspended in a sea of astral chaos, and bridges to lands that lead far beyond. It is said that all life began in a time of war, where three gods were fighting for domain of the universe. Violent and red-eyed the monsters battle raged so furiously that the clashing of their astral blades struck magic. And soon the empty corner of space the beings had been fighting in was begining form. Lands appearing, comets crashing, volcanos forming.  Oxygene, water, magic, life. All am  But perhaps this is to grand a description for a land that is vast, complicated, and vibrant all on its own.     Yonder is made of up
Crescent

From sprawling jungles to desolate swamps this verdant country is known for its people who are as diverse and chaotic as the land itself. Made up primarily of monstrous, fey, and wildfolk citizens, Crescent is the most culturally and racially diverse of all the countries.

Although it is unified by its inclusivity, it is also heavily divided by Crescent's two ruling factions; The Rising Sons and the Children of Ta and Ro. The first, is a mercenary legion made up of mostly humans who train chosen youths to fight and defend against the Mother's forest and followers. They are heavily militarized as and see Crescent as a land that has been taken from them. The second, is a coven of swamp hags who act as the patrons for young wildfolk set on protecting the nature of Crescent at all costs. Both groups can be extreme at times and while both believe in their causes neither are truly in the right. Their feud divides much of Crescent and forces those who want to live untethered to this fruitless battle to choose a side.

Reign
Fire and megma, high tiefling and goblin population, orc, troll, warforged forevern known as the nation at War, Reign is the nation with the highest military population, and home to Yonder's most groundbreaking arcane technologies. The landscape itself is made up primarily of farmsteads, lush hillsides, small clustered woodlands, but its ttwo largest cities Faldren and Dal Doren, contrast the serene nature quite drastically. Dal Doren is the capital and technological hub of the kingdom, as well as the home to the royal family (insert name here), which boast a linegeage of fire dwarves that goes back all the way to the Age of The First Hero. Meanwhile to the south is the city of walls, formally knowns as Faldren, a protected ... within the center of a caldera. It is said that during the age of ... when the world was a chaotic ... of elemtnal powers, dragons and giants, that the gods of fate chose to test the people of Yonder. And upon summoning the fury of a mass volcano, the first hero arose, conjuring a protective spear that allowed the volcanos megma and destruction to pass over its people unharmed. Dubbed the .... this hero became the first of hundred who would follow, with the first beacon of the gods forming on an island in the heart of where the great volcano once stood (serving as a point of pigramiags for those who sorship the lamplighters and one of the largest temples in Yonder. Since the wish spells brought forth be the Heroes Six, Faldren in particular has sworn away all history of greatness and has inacted highly delicate laws that prevent anyone within the cities boundries to speak of the heroes or the outside world.
Spire
A breath taking landscape of mountanous oeaks that soar up into the clouds, Spire is a land as cold and as cruel as the rocky ranges that define it. Known as ..., Spire is home a wide range of societies, with monasteries placed upon mountain tops, tribes of Brute worshiping barbarians deep underground, a floating city of merchants, and the captial city of Sanctuary (a dual(search word: society of underdark citizens and elves found deep beneath the ruins of the last great elven empire. With a population primarily of Elves, dwarves, and dragonborn, massive unworld population, triton population, Spire is a melting pot of culture, specifically within the captiol itself. Some say the impact of the heroes devistation can be seen the least here compared to the other nations, however that is if you don't account for the skeleton of a god said to have been thurst from the heavens by the Devout. Day-to-day life here ranges drastically depending on where one is from, for example the subteranena city of Mooncrest, a cavernous motropolis that spans the interior of one of Spires largest mountains is home to a devout population of dwarves who worship the (insert consetellation god), a diety of guidance, darkness, and the night sky.

Stoneway

Out of all the territories, Stoneway is by far the least populated. A vast graveyard frozen in time after the Wars of Salt and Stone; a millennia long battle in-which leviathans and titans fought over resources, land and long-lost honour. Few populations remain, and those that do are the scattered groups of war-torn offspring, giants, goliaths, cyclopes, aboleths, tritons, tortles, ettin, and scion.

Centuries of battles within the shallows and inlets of the Kaltseir Passage and the Kohrul Sea have also created hamlets of shipwreck survivors from all over Yonder and the lands beyond, allowing for these outsiders to have made Stoneway their home aswell. Beyond those born and those who washed up on its shores, Stoneway also houses an organisation of ancestral guardians, originally formed of air, water, earth elementals and empyreans and known as The Guild of the Silver Seers. This group of otherworldly watchers were tasked with defending the borders of Stoneway from the very forces that once inhabited it. Maning the lighthouses that dot the coastline, it is their duty to not only keep eyes on the sea and the monsters that dwell deep beneath it, but also the petrified forms of the titans who still reside amongst the cliffs and hills of Stoneway.

Monument

No one can say who or what resides in the floating archives of Monument. It's keepers and residents, if any, are a mystery. All that is known of the island in the sky is that it's path is set and it resurfaces over Yonder every 25 years.   The Edge of the World
Evermore, Elsewhere, and what lays beyond:
