Trees that grow beside the Thermalyne rivers of Fyrst. Drawing up the fluid into their trunks they melt snow and keep warm. Their leaves are said to resemble pasta shells.

Branches can be snipped to make a torch or start a fire if the leaves are crushed. Individual leaves are used as hand warmers or have their Thermalyne rubbed into clothing.
