The Creation of Xyvener

In the beginning, before the dawn of time, the universe was vast and void. But when the strings of time became tangled and imbalanced, in this nothingness the astral sea started to flow, a great expanse of darkness and chaos. The astral sea gave rise to the first ones: Powerful concious creatures, both gargantuan and tiny, for there was no scale to measure them, those who roamed the darkness and dust. One of these conscious beings were then the Astragons, long winding bodies and watchful eyes that snaked through the vast expanse of space.   These strange beasts would carry and nourish their sheltered offsprings in their claws until they hatched. However, if an egg was lost in the astral sea before it could hatch, it's unreleased arcane pressure would create an anchor point, causing a pinch in the weave of reality. One of these lost eggs was a mostly the water-based shell now known as Xyvener.   The arm of the Astragon that had carried Xyvener was cut off during the fight in which it lost it's egg, and the remnants of its body, still clinging to the egg, folded across the oceans to become land masses. Xyvener, the planet that sprung of it, is known as the material plane. However, it was not alone in its universe. Through the pinch in the fabrics of reality that were created by the lost egg, two mirror plantes were simultaneously appeared in different dimensions - one being the Shadowfell and the other one the Feywild. This planet triad, all in the same location in different dimensions, is known as the main planes.   The young astragon seemed all but lost, but them a weaver called Hihiro stumbled upon the drifting egg that was Xyvener. Hihiro, who could manipulate the fabrics of reality, pitied the lost creature, and and when they so draped their cloak of greenery across Xyvener, life began to form. Hihiro saw great potential in this egg, and they nurtured and cared for it, watching it's inhabitants flourished and grew.   As time passed, the first humanoids began to look to the skies and see shapes in the astral sea. They interpreted these shapes as more powerful entities, gods and goddesses. And while each humanoid individual alone could not have made an impact, their combined powers as offsprings of a weaver was enough to stitch the deities they worshipped into the veils. Hihiro made an attempts to explain to their humanoid children, that their existence was a mere byproduct of a greater rescue operation, and that they should be careful with the powers they wielded. But alas, the people didn't listen to their words, they only found in Hihiro another god to pray to and be scared off. And scared they were, the humans and humaniods, so scared of everything. Yet bravely they faced their unfortunate individual powerlessness, and as without intending to Hihiro found themselves growing fond of them, their stories, their little games of violence and their overwhelming joy even in view of their mortality. Some of them even turned out to be rather talented little weavers themselves, giving form to the ideas and ideals they worshipped.   Proud of their children's creations, Hihiro used their time observing the egg to weave a few additional collapsed dimensions for these gods, where the powers of those individuals grew stronger with worship and time.
Woven more subtly into the astral sea are now the divine planes, where the ruling deities and their aides resided.
By the weavers work, elemental planes are woven regularily into the folds of the astral sea, to increase the planar stability of time. Together, all these planes were known as the mortal planes.   In the center of Xyvener though, there was one more - hidden in plain sight. The ethereal plane, where all the passed on lives are collected, to eventually awaken the young Astragon.   And so it was that the universe around Xyvener came into being, a vast and intricate tapestry of interwoven planes, gods and goddesses, and mortals. The Astragons roamed the astral sea, and Hihiro watched over Xyvener, nurturing and caring for the egg they were bent on rescuing. And the humans continued to worship the gods and goddesses they had inadvertently created, unknowingly shaping the destiny of their universe in the process.
