Four colony fleets are sent on their way, and the first Four Colonies - Bridgepoint, Canus, Fletcher, and New Home - are established.
The Four Colonies - Canus, New Home, Fletcher, and Bridgepoint are founded, all within three jumps of Homeworld. Rich systems, each more capable of supporting even more life than Homeworld (New Home has three habitable worlds!), the new colonists are amazed at the provisions available in the AetherSea and quickly settle into the tasks of survival and governing. It's estimated that out of a population of 350 million souls alive on Homeworld at the time of the Great War that nearly 2 million made it off of Homeworld. Only 1.2 million made it to the Four Colonies.
