Archite Palatines

The Archite Palatines were Imperial Army and Solar Auxilia Regiments that were drawn from Terra's Europa Noble Houses. They served the Emperor's Children Legion, during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy.

During the Great Crusade a Regiment of the Palatines was attached to the 28th Expedition Fleet under the overall command of the Primarch Fulgrim. It mostly drawn mostly from Europa' noble military households. The Regiment later rebelled along with the Emperor's Children in the Isstvan system.

Culture

Appearance & Uniform

The Imperial Army's uniform was a red tunic and silver cuirass, that bore the Aquila.

The Solar Auxilia's armor was silver and red. The latter color was a reference to the grapes that were grown in the Europa clans' hermetically sealed agri-domes. The Palatines' vehicles meanwhile were silver and marked with bands of red. Any iconography the vehicles bore were rendered in off-white.
