Emmet Brood

Originally a brigand, Emmet Brood was hired by King Ioji Hyoga to spearhead an initiative of commandeering more respect for his King as a military intellect (as Ioji could never quite live up to the standards of excellency set by his mother, Queen Illyria of the Winter March ). 
This, among many others, lead to the nearly continent-wide loss of supporters to the Hyogan hierarchy as Brood was convicted as being the sole instigator of The Massacre at Marigold
