Birth of Xelestar
Several eons ago, a being known as The Nascency , desperate for companionship, contructed the planet that would later be referred to by its inhabitants as Xelestar. As the world was constructed from nothingness, so too were her Gods. They were called The Twelve Pillars of Creation, and they served as Xelestar's guardians for millenia. The Nascency created Humankind and planted them upon the world to accompany it. Each of The Pillars ruled over their domains and assigned small amounts of divine power to their most devout followers to keep the world's peoples at peace.
When a vessel from another realm arrived in Xelestar's dimension (and subsequently creating both the planet's Moon and Sun), it brought with it a series of invaders that would radically change Xelestarian life forever. These invaders, who would come to be known as Elves, brought with them dangerous knowledge. Knowledge of Arcane Magick: a form a spellcasting completely executable by mortalkind with no influence from the Gods. This created a deep scar between The Pillars and Xelestar's people that can still be felt amongst the most cynical wizards of the land to this day.
Many centuries have passed since the arrival of the Elvari from their home realm known as The Feywilds , and Xelestar's specific utilizations of magick have only continued to evolve. Human mages have begun to transmute parts of their body to steel to meet the demands of a magick-laden world. Metal chassis have been given souls and brought to life. Even the Elven God of Magick, Synor, has been reincarnated into The God of Ingenuity, Zol. A world once led by those blessed to be born with power, now feels the ever ebbing waves of a world where one can truly be made into whatever they like.
