Xardia
What is this lump of rock, floating through space? Some say it's the husk of The Creator's body. Others claim it's nothing more than something that formed naturally, and the Creator simply created the creatures that resided upon it. The truth is that no one knows, such history is long since lost to time.
History
Xardia was originally nothing, a void within space itself. However, during the beginning of the First Age this was changed as the world was brought life through the Song of Creation. As the planet was sung into reality through the use of True Names put into song, the world formed. Water was brought forth as was land, and supposedly even light itself. Life followed. Bacterium, animals and plants. As the song progressed and the Creator grew lonely watching its creations frolic and grow, it desired children of its own that could properly understand it. With this the Firstborn were manifested. The first sapient creatures of reality walked the planet, and so too did they sing with their creator. From this point, many other creatures were sung into existence including the Dragons. However, many were set to evolve as time passed. Soon the Creator too would be split, and their 'perfect creation' would spiral into the realm of chaos and the "Natural Order" known to the modern age.Geography
Zaria
The northernmost continent of the world, currently ruled by the Ceridian Empire aside a handful of countries and city-states. This continent begins from the far north as a massive series of mountains and glaciers. This then evolves the further south one goes into mountains and hills decorated with thick forestry. Eventually fading into rolling plains through the center of the continent, until eventually reaching a far more temperature climate. Eventually as one enters the southern-half of the continent more mountains rise up into the sky. These mountains are decorated with thick jungles that lead all the way to the shores, often forming into great plateaus along the shore instead of sandy beaches. From this point, as one heads east they will find the majority of the continent to be hills and plains leading to large beaches that roll into the sea. To the far west, the opposite is true as instead of open plains one will find dense forestry and hills leading into ancient forests of the fae.Drakonia
The continent to the far west which is greatly submerged within the seas. Drakonia is less one large continent, and instead a series of massive islands that connect beneath the water, forming a single cohesive land. Due to the majority of the continent being found along the equator, the lands are viewed as temperate and warm. Primarily lands of jungles, thick rainforests and occasional deserts that decorate the various island-countries. As one nears the center of the continent, large mountains become common. This is especially so at the heart of the continent known as Drakonia, which is effectively a singular country-sized mountain. The northernmost sections of Celestia near Kaiten is known for being cooler, actually receiving snowfall and holding flora comparable to that of Zaria with thick forestry and rolling hills.Faera
What most would call an island, or perhaps an extension of another continent at a glance, Faera appears quite small on most maps. But this is purely due to the fact that the majority of the continent is beneath the sea. The great roots of the tree, along with all the land associated with it sprawls out to be larger than any of the other continents. Due to being in line with some of the equator, yet slightly north, Faera has an incredibly pleasant climate. Being pleasantly warm for most of the year and yet still getting the occasional snow during winter. The land is completely covered in unique flora that can only be found there.Tauren'Dur
The final, greatly unknown continent of Tauren'Dur has only been sparsly explored along its shores. The details of the land is largely unknown, but great mountains and platea appear to be common along with plains and sparse trees.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
