Solar Alliance

The Solar Alliance was a short-lived alliance of the more developed factions that held claim in the Sol system from the arrival of the Federation of Xah until its eventual annexation by the same. In total, it lasted for just under three years, but gained notoriety for inflicting the only substantial defeat of the Federation of Xah until its encounters with the Northup Alliance. This defeat, the result of a brilliant strategic move by one of the Alliance's admirals and some fortuitous positioning of part of Saturn's rings, did nothing to delay the final defeat of the Alliance and the bringing of the Sol system under Federation control. The admiral behind the Alliance's single victory was pardoned by the Federation and inducted as an honorary member of the Warrior caste, despite professing her disagreement with the Federation way of life. Her genes were used in future generations of warriors, and to carry her name is considered somewhat of a prestige in space-based Warriors.
