Phyrra Vaecaryn is the 7th Vaecaryn ruler of Altirborne, the throne has been in the Vaecaryn name for around 350 years after their house won The Crown War  .
Phyrra is stalwart in her beliefs and her opinions, a trait that has earned her both admiration and derision from her subjects. She is a devout believer in Bellian and Irux and carries herself with the poise of a woman who was made to rule. This fact is often deemed ironic by her subjects, especially those who are not fond of their Queen, as Phyrra was the second born of her parents only becoming heir after her elder brother tragically died in an accident at a young age.
Phyrra is a divisive ruler, with some heralding her harsher stance on the East than her mother before her. Though Phyrra has never outright shunned the lifestyle of those in the East she has not praised it either and her political decisions are telling of her opinion on the protests that have begun to sweep the West of Altirborne.
Phyrra has only one son, Henell, the heir to the Vaecaryn name and throne. The Prince is rarely seen in public, kept safe behind the walls of The Hollow by his mother from those who wish to see the Vaecaryn dynasty end. Prince Henell is currently 21 years old and stands to inhereit the throne when his mother either abdicates or passes on.

Description: Phyrra is a woman of imposing stature at just under 6ft tall with a lithe frame and broad shoulders. She is pale and has deep auburn hair that has begun to pepper with grey, it is mostly worn in a braid across her shoulder. Phyrra has heterochromia, one eye is dark brown eye, while the other is a deep green: her son, Henell, shares this feature though his eyes are brown and blue.
