Theogorn, the Third Son

Theogorn was a plagued young man. Born into a cult that worshipped The Shade, he was used in a ritual at the age of ten, wiping out the cult in the aftermath. Though he didn't know it at the time, he had become inextricably linked to a Demon named Kalimbor.
When Theogorn was thirteen, Kalimbor gained the ability to whisper. He tried to coerce Theogorn into doing things like stealing bread, but rarely succeeded. At seventeen, Kalimbor had grown strong enough to speak to Theogorn, using this to drive the young man mad by shouting at all times of day, and preying on his fears. When Theogorn was twenty, Kalimbor manifested for the first time, capitalizing on Theogorn's inebriated state to take control and massacre the patrons of the bar.
That kicked off a long time of wandering the countryside, hoping to avoid people wherever possible. He tried to kill himself multiple times, but Kalimbor kept that from happening every time. After a few years, when Theogorn was twenty six, Yarn entered the picture. He taught Theogorn how to talk to Kalimbor, and, after sixteen years of being tethered to one another, the two of them finally had a conversation. Enlightened, Theogorn spent the next twenty years studying under Yarn.
After Yarn had taught all he cared to, Theogorn struck out on his own, learning how to channel the ambient energy of the cosmos. It took another thirty years to finally perfect this, resulting in an entirely new source of magic, and even the ability to create solid objects. In time, he taught these techniques to the people of Astozia and Baliklav, resulting in the Aard and Astozian Knights.
