Mystra is the Goddess of Magic, and is typically symbolized by nine stars encircling a single red star.
Her followers - referred to simply as "Mages" - are not concerned with the ethics of good or evil, as long as the laws of magic are upheld. An example of this is Mystra's Ban, which bans the use of all magic greater than tenth level.
Also known as the Lady of Mysteries, the Mother of All Magic, and Our Lady of Spells.
