Estalian Funerals

Estalian funerals are extremely strict affairs. Although the extravagence and flair of the funeral depends on the Caste of the individual, each one requires the following elements:

1. A procession, typically including the body of the deceased, their families, and notable works of theirs.
2. A series of speeches talking about the deceased.
3. The deceased is then cremated, and buried in a ceremony.

In part of an influence from Ostrangardian immigrants, many Estalians believe that if a funeral isn't completed with the proper customs and reverance, the deceased will return to haunt them.
